The Castle towering over the very centre of Bielsko-Biała is the oldest and the most impressive historic building located within the historical area of Bielsko.
It was erected in 14th century and survived in good condition until today. In addition to this the Castle houses a museum.
The museum displays the following permanent exhibitions: The Exhibition of Fine and European Arts from 14th to 17th Century, Contemporary Art of Podbeskidzie, Musical Salon and many others.
The Weaver’s House in Bielsko-Biała is located at Sobieskiego Street in Górne Przedmieście (Upper Suburbs).
The building is a fine example of 18th-century craft architecture.
The exhibition shows interior of a weaver’s house and workshop owned by a guild master.
The museum exhibits machines and devices used for manufacturing of woollen coarse fabric, including the famous cloth of Bielsko.
Exhibit items are on display in 4 rooms corresponding with particular areas of activity of the former manufactory.
Apart from this the museum collects and displays exhibit items related to other branches of industry and technology (fire safety, printing industry, metal and engineering industry).
Wzgórze Trzech Lipek (The Hill of Three Linden Trees) also known as “Hill 360” is one of major attractions in Bielsko-Biała.
This is the place where one can admire almost complete panorama of the city and its surroundings.
The spot is located 386 metres above sea level in Silesian Foothills, in the northern area of Bielsko-Biała.
